Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Bhutan eVisa portal (search 'Bhutan eVisa official'). Fill in your personal details, passport info, travel dates, and accommodation. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee (around $40 USD) by card. Processing takes 3–5 business days.

Receive approval letter
Once approved, you'll get a PDF approval letter by email. Print it and save a copy on your phone. This letter is your visa — you'll show it at check-in and on arrival.

Arrive at Paro International Airport
At Paro Airport, go to the immigration counter. Present your passport, approval letter, and return ticket. They'll stamp you in. The whole process takes 5–10 minutes if you have everything ready.

Show documents at immigration
Hand over your passport and approval letter. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking. Answer clearly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days.
