What happens at the border

1
Land at a Nigerian airport with visa-on-arrival facilities
Visa on arrival is available at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV) in Abuja. Other airports may not offer this service, so book your flight into one of these two.
2
Go to the 'Visa on Arrival' desk before passport control
After deplaning, follow signs to the Visa on Arrival counter. Do not join the regular immigration queue yet. Present your passport, return ticket, and accommodation proof. Pay the fee (cash or card). The officer will process your visa and stamp your passport.
3
Proceed to passport control
Once you have the visa sticker, join the immigration queue. Hand over your passport and any supporting documents if asked. The officer will verify and let you through.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel and proceed through customs. Keep your passport and visa receipt handy in case of a spot check.
