Fill out the arrival card
On the plane or at the airport before immigration, grab a white arrival card. Fill in your personal details, flight number, and hotel address. Keep it with your passport.

Queue at the 'Visa on Arrival' counter
At Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, follow signs to the Visa on Arrival section. There are usually two queues: one for payment (if you haven't paid online) and one for visa issuance. If you have USD cash, go straight to the visa counter.

Submit documents and pay the fee
Hand over your passport, arrival card, and photos. Tell the officer your visa duration (15, 30, or 90 days). Pay the fee in cash. They'll process your visa and hand back your passport with the sticker.

Proceed to immigration
After getting the visa, walk to the immigration counters. The officer will stamp you in. Keep the arrival card stub — you'll need it when you leave.
