No visa needed — but don't skip the prep
You don't need a visa, but immigration still checks your passport validity, return ticket, and accommodation. Have them ready to avoid delays.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Airlines check the 6-month rule before you board. If your passport expires within 6 months of your arrival date, you'll be turned away at check-in.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) or port
You'll go through immigration at the airport in Victoria (Mahé) or at the port if arriving by ferry or yacht. Join the 'Foreign Passports' queue.
2
Present your documents to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport, return ticket (printed or on your phone), and proof of accommodation. The officer will stamp your passport with a visitor's permit valid for up to 90 days.
3
Collect your luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. There's usually nothing to declare unless you're carrying restricted items.
4
Exit the arrivals hall
Once through customs, you're free to leave. Taxis and hotel shuttles are available outside. Keep your passport and entry stamp handy — you'll need it for check-in.
