Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to the official Ukraine e-Visa portal (evisa.gov.ua/en). Fill in your personal details, passport info, travel dates, and upload a passport-style photo. Pay the fee (around $20–$30 USD) with a credit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days, but can take up to 10 during peak periods.

Wait for approval and print confirmation
Check your email (and spam folder) for the visa decision. Once approved, you'll receive a PDF. Print it and save a copy on your phone. The visa is electronically linked to your passport, but having a physical copy avoids hassle.

Prepare your documents for border control
At the airport in Ukraine (most likely Kyiv Boryspil or Lviv), join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport, printed visa approval, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. The officer may ask a few questions about your trip — answer clearly and briefly.

Get your passport stamped and enter
The officer will stamp your passport with your entry date and the allowed stay period. Check the stamp before leaving the counter — if the dates look wrong, ask for clarification immediately. You're now in Ukraine.
