Apply for your visa online
Go to immigration.gov.to and fill out the visa application form. Upload a clear copy of your passport bio page, your flight itinerary, and accommodation details. Pay the fee (TOP 200 for single entry, TOP 400 for multiple entry). Wait 5–10 business days for approval. You will receive a visa approval letter by email — print it and carry it with you.

Prepare your documents for departure
Before heading to the airport, double-check your passport has at least 6 months of validity beyond your departure date from Tonga. Print your visa approval letter, return ticket, and hotel booking. Save digital copies on your phone as backup. Pack a pen for the arrival card.

Arrive at Fuaʻamotu International Airport
After landing, follow signs to the immigration hall. Join the queue for foreign passport holders. When it's your turn, hand over your passport, visa approval letter, and completed arrival card. The officer may ask about your accommodation and return ticket — answer clearly. They will stamp your passport with a 30-day stay. Collect your luggage and proceed to customs.
