Cuba entry requirements for Peru passport holders
Peruvian passport holders need an eVisa to visit Cuba. Apply online before your trip. As of 2026, the eVisa is the only option for tourism — there is no visa-on-arrival.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Cuba Tourist eVisa | Apply for a Cuba Tourist eVisa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal. The eVisa is a single-entry authorization valid for 30 days. Processing takes 3–5 business days — apply at least a week before departure.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of stay | Your passport must be valid for at least the entire period you plan to stay in Cuba. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires before you leave, you will be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Cuba | Immigration officers at Havana Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or the booking confirmation on your phone. Without one, you may be refused entry. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel or casa particular booking | Carry a printed or digital confirmation of your first night's accommodation. Cuba requires all visitors to have a registered address — if you're staying in a casa particular, the host's name and address are enough. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Have a bank statement or credit card showing access to at least $200 USD for the duration of your stay. Immigration rarely asks, but if they do, cash or a card statement works. | Recommended |
