Apply for eVisa online
Go to visaburkina.bf, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a copy of your passport bio page, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email.

Print or save eVisa approval
Once approved, print a copy of the eVisa email or save the PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Ouagadougou.

Prepare supporting documents
Have your passport (valid 6+ months), return ticket, hotel booking, and travel insurance ready. Keep digital copies on your phone and a printed backup in your carry-on.

Arrive at Ouagadougou Airport
At Ouagadougou International Airport, proceed to immigration. Present your passport, eVisa approval, and return ticket. The officer may ask about your accommodation and purpose of visit. Answer clearly and briefly.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel. There are no additional visa-on-arrival steps if you already have the eVisa. Head to the exit and arrange transport to your hotel.
