Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your Pakistani passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Moldova. Moldova does not enforce a 6-month validity rule — just make sure it does not expire while you are there. Airlines may still ask for at least 3 months validity at check-in.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration officers at Chișinău Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing you leave Moldova within the eVisa validity period. A bus or train ticket to Romania or Ukraine also works.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel confirmation or an invitation letter from your host in Moldova. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it printed saves time if they do. Airbnb bookings are accepted.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a bank statement from the last 3 months or enough cash (around €50 per day) to cover your stay. Moldova is not strict about this, but showing funds speeds up the process if questioned.Recommended
Passport validity is critical
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it expires sooner, you will be denied boarding or entry. Renew your passport before applying for the eVisa.
eVisa is digital — keep a copy
Print a paper copy of your eVisa approval and also save a PDF on your phone. Border officers may ask to see it, and phone screens can fail.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa

3
Arrive in Moldova
At Chișinău International Airport or any land border, go to the immigration counter. Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer may ask about your stay and onward travel. Answer clearly.
