What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Guinea eVisa portal or use a trusted visa service. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get the eVisa by email. Download it and save a copy on your phone. Print a paper backup — phone screens can die or lose signal at the border.
3
Arrive at Conakry International Airport (CKY)
After landing, head to immigration. Have your passport, eVisa printout or phone, return ticket, and accommodation proof ready. The officer will check your documents and stamp you in. The process usually takes 10–20 minutes if your paperwork is in order.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. You may be asked to show your customs declaration form. Then walk through the 'Nothing to Declare' or 'Goods to Declare' channel as appropriate.
