Passport validity is strictly enforced

Arrive at Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) or other port of entry
Most visitors fly into Nassau. After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Arrivals'. There are usually two queues: one for citizens/residents, one for visitors. Join the visitor queue.

Present your documents to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport and return/onward ticket. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, length of stay, and where you're staying. Answer clearly and briefly.

Get your passport stamped
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry and the allowed stay (usually 90 days). Check the stamp before walking away. If anything looks wrong, ask immediately.

Collect luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, go to baggage claim, then walk through customs. There's usually a green channel for nothing to declare and a red channel for goods to declare. If unsure, use the red channel and ask.
