Valid passport
Must be valid for the entire stay
Your passport must be valid for at least the duration of your stay in Armenia. No 6-month validity rule applies — just cover your travel dates. Airlines may still check for 6 months, so confirm with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket

Border officers at Zvartnots Airport occasionally ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready. If you're continuing to another country, show that itinerary.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host in Armenia. Immigration may request it, especially if you're staying more than a few days. A simple booking confirmation works.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can cover your stay
Have bank statements or cash equivalent to at least $50 per day of your stay. Officers rarely ask, but it's better to have evidence ready. Credit cards are widely accepted in Yerevan.Recommended
Apply Early
Don't wait until the last minute. e-Visa processing can take up to 5 business days, and weekends/holidays don't count. Apply at least 10 days before your flight.
Keep Digital Copies
Save your e-Visa, passport, and booking confirmations as PDFs on your phone and email. If you lose your printed copies, you can still show them on your phone.
