Rwandan passport holders must get an eVisa to enter Cameroon. The entire process is online, and you need the approved eVisa before you travel. As of 2026, there is no visa-on-arrival option for Rwandans.

No visa on arrival — plan ahead
Rwandan passport holders cannot get a visa at the airport in Cameroon. You must have your eVisa approved before you fly. Airlines will check this at check-in.
Yellow fever vaccine required
You need a yellow fever vaccination and must carry your yellow card. Immigration may ask to see it. Get the vaccine at least 10 days before travel.

Apply for eVisa Online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and Print eVisa
Once approved, you'll receive the eVisa by email. Print a copy — you'll need to show it at the airport check-in counter and upon arrival in Cameroon.

Prepare Your Documents
Before you head to the airport, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed eVisa, return/onward ticket (screenshot or print), and first night accommodation confirmation. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrival at Yaoundé or Douala Airport
At immigration, present your passport and printed eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly. The process usually takes 5–10 minutes. You'll receive a stamp allowing entry for the duration of your eVisa.
