Cash only at visa counter
The visa on arrival counter only accepts US dollars cash. No cards, no euros, no Swedish kronor. Have $30 ready in your pocket before you queue. ATMs are available after immigration, but you'll need cash before that.
Keep your arrival card stub
When you enter Cambodia, immigration will give you a small stub from the arrival card. Don't lose it — you'll need to hand it in when you leave. Hotels won't ask for it, but immigration will.

Go to visa on arrival counter
At Phnom Penh or Siem Reap airport, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' before passport control. Hand over your form, passport, photo, and $30 cash. The officer processes it in a few minutes.

Pay and collect visa
Pay the fee in US dollars. You'll get a receipt and your passport with the visa sticker. Double-check the dates — it's valid for 30 days from the issue date.

Proceed to immigration
Take your passport with the visa sticker to the immigration counter. They'll stamp you in. Keep the arrival card stub — you'll need it when you leave.
