Croatia entry requirements for Singapore passport holders
Singapore passport holders can travel to Croatia visa-free for tourism or business stays up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This applies from 2026 onward, as Croatia is part of the Schengen Area.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from Croatia | Your passport needs at least 3 months of validity after your exit date from Croatia. Since Croatia is in the Schengen zone, the 90/180-day rule applies across all 27 Schengen countries — your total stay in the zone cannot exceed 90 days in any 180-day window. Airlines check this at check-in. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from the Schengen area | Immigration at Zagreb and Split airports routinely asks for a return or onward ticket showing you leave the Schengen zone within 90 days. A bus ticket to Bosnia or a flight to London works. If you overstay, the fine is up to €3,000 and you risk a re-entry ban. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Border officers may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. A hotel confirmation or a letter from a friend in Croatia with their address is enough. I've been asked for this at Zagreb airport twice in the last year. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself during your stay | Croatia can ask you to show at least €100 per day of your stay, or a credit card with a reasonable limit. In practice, they rarely ask Singapore passport holders, but have a bank statement or card ready if you're staying longer than a week. | Recommended |
