Thai passport holders need an eVisa to enter Moldova in 2026. You apply entirely online before traveling, and once approved, you can stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

eVisa is mandatory — no exceptions
Thai passport holders cannot enter Moldova without an approved eVisa. There is no visa on arrival or visa waiver. Apply well in advance.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Moldova, not from when you apply. Double-check before booking flights.

Go to evisa.gov.md, fill out the application, upload your passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF by email. Print a copy and save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and upon arrival.

Arrive at Chișinău International Airport
At passport control, present your passport, eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask about your accommodation and purpose of visit. Answer clearly and briefly.

Collect luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, collect your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. No arrival declaration is required.
