Uganda entry requirements for Tunisia passport holders
Tunisian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Uganda. You apply entirely online before you travel, and receive an approval letter by email. This requirement is in effect for 2026.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Uganda eVisa application Apply online before travel | Apply for your Uganda eVisa at the official eVisa portal at least 2 weeks before departure. The application asks for your passport details, travel itinerary, and a recent passport photo. Pay the visa fee online — single entry is $50 USD, multiple entry is $100 USD. Approval takes 3–5 business days, and you'll receive an approval letter by email. Print that letter and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for entire stay | Your Tunisian passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Uganda. Have at least two blank pages for the entry and exit stamps. Immigration officers at Entebbe check this strictly — if your passport expires sooner, you'll be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Uganda | Immigration at Entebbe Airport will ask to see a confirmed onward or return ticket before they stamp you in. Airlines also check this at check-in — if you don't have one, they won't let you board. A bus ticket to a neighboring country works if you're overlanding. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Uganda. Immigration officers sometimes ask for this, especially if you're arriving without a clear itinerary. A booking confirmation from Booking.com or Airbnb with your name and dates is fine. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Carry evidence of sufficient funds — either cash (USD is widely accepted), a bank statement, or a credit card statement showing at least $300–$500 for a short stay. Immigration rarely asks, but if you look underprepared they may question you. | Recommended |
