Apply early — don't risk it
The e-visa can take up to 5 business days to process. If you apply too late and it's not approved, you won't be able to board your flight. Apply at least a week before departure.
e-visa is single-entry
The e-visa allows one entry only. If you leave Kenya (even for a day trip to Tanzania), you'll need to apply for a new e-visa to return.
No visa on arrival
Kenya does not offer visa-on-arrival for Turkish citizens. Arriving without an approved e-visa means you'll be sent back on the next flight — at your own expense.

Apply for e-visa online
Go to https://etakenya.go.ke/ and fill out the application. You'll need to upload a passport photo and your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $34 USD) with a credit/debit card. Processing usually takes 2-3 business days, but can take longer — apply at least a week before your trip.

Receive e-visa by email
Once approved, you'll get an email with your e-visa. Print it out or save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Nairobi.

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration'. Have your passport, e-visa, return ticket, and accommodation details ready. The line can be long, but it moves. You'll get an entry stamp — check that the date is correct before leaving the counter.

Collect your bags and exit
After clearing immigration, grab your luggage and head to customs. Declare any items if needed. Then you're free to enter Kenya.
