Qatar entry requirements for Turkey passport holders
Turkish passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Qatar, valid for up to 30 days. This has been the case since 2024 and applies at all entry points, including Hamad International Airport. No advance application is needed.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Visa on arrival Visa on arrival | Turkish passport holders get a visa on arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha. Pay the fee in Qatari riyals or with a credit card at the counter before immigration. The visa is valid for 30 days and is not extendable.Apply online | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Qatar | Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity from the day you leave Qatar. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. No exceptions. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for visa on arrival | Immigration in Doha will ask for a confirmed onward ticket before stamping your visa on arrival. Have a printed or digital copy of your return or next-destination flight ready. Budget airlines like Flydubai or Air Arabia check this strictly at check-in. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Recommended to show at immigration | While not always asked, having a hotel booking or a host's address ready speeds up the visa-on-arrival process. If staying with friends or family, carry their Qatari ID (QID) number and contact details. Immigration officers may ask for it. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Recommended to show at immigration | You may be asked to show you can support yourself during your stay. Have a credit card or bank statement showing at least 5,000 QAR (~$1,370) available. Cash is less common — cards work fine. | Recommended |
