Schengen Area rules apply
Luxembourg is part of the Schengen Area. Your 90-day visa-free stay counts across all 27 Schengen countries. If you've already spent 30 days in France, you only have 60 days left for Luxembourg and the rest of Schengen.
Passport validity is strict
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it expires sooner, you will be denied boarding by the airline or refused entry at the border. Renew your passport well in advance.

Arrive at Luxembourg Airport (LUX)
Luxembourg Airport is small and efficient. After deplaning, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for EU and non-EU citizens. Join the 'All Passports' or 'Non-EU' line.

Present your passport and documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask: purpose of visit, length of stay, where you're staying, and proof of onward travel. Answer clearly. Have your return ticket and accommodation confirmation ready on your phone or printed.

Get your entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and the number of days allowed (usually 90). Check the stamp before walking away. If it's wrong, ask politely to correct it.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim. Then walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have no goods to declare. You're now in Luxembourg.
