Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Kazakhstan. Airlines check this before boarding — if you're short, you won't fly.

Arrive at the airport
At Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ) in Astana or Almaty International Airport (ALA), go to the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and eVisa. They'll stamp you in.

Show your onward ticket
The officer may ask for proof of departure. Have your return flight booking ready on your phone or printed.

Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. Green channel if nothing to declare.
