Visa required — apply in advance
Ukrainian passport holders cannot enter Côte d'Ivoire without a visa obtained before travel. No visa on arrival, no visa waiver. Apply at least 2 weeks ahead via the e-visa portal or an Ivorian embassy.
Yellow fever vaccine mandatory
You must show a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (yellow card) upon arrival. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated at the airport (which costs time and money).

Go to the official e-visa site (snedai.com) or visit the nearest Ivorian embassy. Fill out the form, upload your passport scan and photo, pay the fee (around 50–70 EUR depending on embassy), and wait 3–7 business days for approval.

Once approved, you'll receive a PDF or email confirmation. Print it out — you'll need to show it at airport check-in and upon arrival in Abidjan.

Arrive at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ)
After landing, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. Hand over your passport, printed visa approval, return ticket, and accommodation proof. An officer will stamp your passport. The whole process takes 10–20 minutes if you have everything ready.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel and proceed to customs. There's usually no duty for personal items. Then you're free to leave the airport.
