Ukrainian passport holders need a visa to enter Morocco in 2026. You must apply and receive approval before you travel — there is no visa on arrival for Ukrainian citizens.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Visa application
Apply before travel
You need a visa to enter Morocco. Apply at the Moroccan embassy or consulate in your home country — processing takes 5-10 working days. Submit your passport, completed application form, two passport photos, flight itinerary, hotel booking, and bank statements showing sufficient funds.Apply for visaRequired
Valid passport
6 months validity required
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Morocco. Airlines check this strictly at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Overstaying your visa costs 100 MAD per day (about $10 USD), paid at the airport departure counter.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket at passport control. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone. If you plan to leave overland to Ceuta or Melilla, show a bus or ferry booking instead.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Morocco. Immigration may ask where you are staying on arrival. If staying with friends, have them send you a signed invitation letter with their address and phone number.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have bank statements or a credit card showing you have enough money for your stay. Officers rarely ask for a specific amount, but having at least 500 MAD per day (about $50 USD) in cash or card available avoids problems.Recommended
Visa required — apply early
Ukrainian citizens cannot enter Morocco without a pre-approved visa. Start the application process at least 4–6 weeks before your trip to avoid delays.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you arrive in Morocco, not from when you leave. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying for the visa.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for a visa
Contact the Moroccan embassy or consulate in Kyiv (or the nearest one if you're abroad). Submit the completed application form, passport photos, passport copy, flight itinerary, hotel booking, and proof of funds. Pay the visa fee (around €30–€60 depending on type). Processing takes 2–4 weeks.
2
Wait for approval
Once submitted, you'll receive a visa sticker in your passport or a separate approval document. Do not book non-refundable flights until you have the visa in hand.
3
Arrive in Morocco
At the airport (Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, etc.), go to the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport with the visa, return ticket, and hotel booking. The officer may ask a few questions — answer honestly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for the duration of your visa.
