Apply for the eVisa online
Go to visaburkina.bf, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $30–$50 depending on processing speed). Submit and wait for approval — typically 3–7 business days.

Print or save your eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll receive a PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at immigration in Ouagadougou.

Prepare your documents for arrival
At Ouagadougou International Airport (OUA), join the 'eVisa' queue. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout (or phone), return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. The officer will stamp you in. Keep your boarding pass handy too.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. There's usually a customs check — declare anything valuable. Then you're free to exit into the arrivals hall.
