Apply early — no visa on arrival

Apply for e-Visa Online
Go to the official Brazilian government e-Visa portal (gov.br/mre). Fill out the application form, upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 5–15 business days.

Receive and Print Visa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your visa PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. The visa is electronically linked to your passport, but having a printout avoids hassle.

Prepare for Arrival in Brazil
At immigration (e.g., Guarulhos in São Paulo or Galeão in Rio), hand over your passport and visa printout. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly. You'll get a stamp allowing up to 90 days.
