Yellow fever vaccine required
Uganda is a yellow fever endemic country. Malawi requires a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (yellow card) from all travelers arriving from Uganda. Get vaccinated at least 10 days before travel and carry the card with your passport.

At Lilongwe (LLW) or Blantyre (BLZ) airport, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Arrivals'. Join the queue for foreign passport holders.

Hand over your passport and, if asked, your return/onward ticket. The officer will check validity and stamp you in.

The officer will stamp your passport with a 90-day visa-free entry. Confirm the date is correct before leaving the counter.

After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. No arrival declaration form is needed.
