Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Kuwait. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required

Proof of funds
Sufficient cash or bank statement
Have at least 1,000 KWD (approx. $3,250 USD) in cash, traveler's checks, or a recent bank statement. Officers rarely check this for US passport holders, but it's better to be prepared.Recommended
Cash only for visa fee
The visa on arrival fee must be paid in Kuwaiti Dinars cash. No credit cards. ATMs are available before the counter, but it's easier to have small bills ready.
