Singapore entry requirements for United States passport holders
US citizens do not need a visa for Singapore for stays up to 90 days for tourism, business visits, or social calls. This visa‑free policy is currently in effect. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your departure date and that you have submitted the electronic SG Arrival Card before you land.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |

| Valid passport Must cover entire stay | Your US passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Singapore. Singapore does not require 6 months of validity beyond your departure date, but your airline may enforce their own policy — check with them before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for visa-free entry | Immigration officers at Changi Airport will ask for proof of onward travel — a return ticket or a ticket to your next destination. Have a printed or digital copy ready. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host address | Have your hotel confirmation or the address of where you're staying ready. Immigration may ask for it, especially if you're arriving without a clear itinerary. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient cash or bank statement | Carry enough cash (at least SGD 1,000 or equivalent) or have a bank statement showing available funds. Immigration rarely checks this for US passport holders, but it's better to have it. | Recommended |
| SG Arrival Card (SGAC) Digital arrival declaration | Complete the SG Arrival Card online at the ICA website within 3 days before arrival. You'll get a QR code — show it at immigration for faster clearance. This is not a visa, just a digital form.Submit SG Arrival Card | Optional |
