Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Azerbaijan, not from your departure date. If your passport expires sooner, renew it before you go.

Follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' immigration. Join the queue for non-Azerbaijani citizens. Have your passport and boarding pass ready.

Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask: purpose of visit, length of stay, where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly. They will stamp your passport with a 90-day entry.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. No arrival declaration form is required for standard tourist visits.
