Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Ethiopia. Airlines at Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City check this before boarding — if your passport expires sooner, you won't be allowed to fly.

Arrive at Bole International Airport (ADD)
After landing in Addis Ababa, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival' (though you already have your eVisa). Join the queue for 'eVisa holders' or 'Foreign Passports'. Present your passport and eVisa printout. The officer will check your return ticket and may ask about accommodation. Expect 15–30 minutes in line.

After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. Exit into the arrivals hall.
