eVisa processing can be slow
Apply at least 2 weeks before your trip. The official processing time is up to 10 working days, but it can take longer during peak season. Don't book non-refundable flights until you have the eVisa in hand.
Keep digital copies of everything

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Moldova eVisa portal at evisa.gov.md. Fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around €80) and submit. Processing takes up to 10 working days.

Receive and print your eVisa
You'll get an email with your eVisa approval. Print a copy and save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at the border.

Arrive at Chișinău International Airport
At passport control, hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. The queue is usually short — 5–15 minutes.

Show accommodation and insurance if asked
Immigration may ask for proof of where you're staying and travel insurance. Have the booking confirmation and insurance certificate ready on your phone.
