RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Togo eVisa
Apply for a Togo eVisa at evisa.gouv.tg before you fly. The online form takes about 10 minutes — you'll need a passport scan, a digital photo, and a credit card. Processing usually takes 2–3 business days, and the eVisa is valid for a single entry up to 15 days.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your Vietnamese passport must be valid for at least the entire period you plan to stay in Togo. Airlines at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat may check this at check-in — if your passport expires before you leave Togo, you'll be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Togo
Immigration at Lomé–Tokoin Airport asks for a confirmed onward or return ticket before they stamp you in. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this at the counter before passport control.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel confirmation or an invitation letter from your host in Togo. Immigration officers at Lomé occasionally ask for it, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have access to at least $500 USD equivalent in cash, a bank statement, or a credit card. Togo immigration rarely asks for it, but if they do, they want to see you can cover your stay without working.Recommended
Passport validity is critical
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Togo. Airlines check this at check-in — if you're short, you won't be allowed to board.
eVisa is the only option
There is no visa on arrival or visa-free entry for Vietnamese passport holders. Apply online at evisa.gouv.tg before you fly.
