eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Vietnamese passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Zimbabwe. You must obtain the eVisa online before you travel. Without it, you'll be denied boarding.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Zimbabwe, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it first.

Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Zimbabwe eVisa website (evisa.gov.zw) and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Upload a digital passport photo and pay the fee (around $30–$50 USD depending on visa type). Processing usually takes 2–5 business days.

Receive eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll get a PDF via email. Print a copy and save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and upon arrival in Zimbabwe.

Arrive at Zimbabwe airport
At Harare (HRE) or Victoria Falls (VFA) airport, head to the immigration counter. Present your passport, eVisa approval, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in — usually takes 2–5 minutes. Keep your boarding pass handy in case they ask.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel, then proceed through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're free to go.
