What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat or Salalah airport
After landing, follow the 'Arrivals' signs to the immigration hall. There are separate queues for GCC nationals and others — join the 'Foreigners' or 'All Passports' queue.
2
Present your passport at the counter
Hand over your passport (valid 6+ months, with a blank page). The officer will scan it, may ask your purpose of visit (tourism is fine), and will stamp your entry. No visa fee is charged.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim and then customs. You're free to enter Oman — no additional paperwork or registration is needed.
