At Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or any other entry point, join the foreign passport queue. Have your passport and boarding pass ready.

Present documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly and politely.

Get stamped in
The officer will stamp your passport with a 90-day visit pass. Check the stamp before walking away — make sure the date is correct.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel and proceed through customs. Green lane for nothing to declare, red lane if you have dutiable goods.
