Singapore entry requirements for Canada passport holders
Canadian passport holders can enter Singapore without a visa for tourism or business visits up to 30 days. As of 2026, you simply arrive at Changi Airport and get your entry stamp at immigration. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your Canadian passport needs to be valid only for the time you plan to stay in Singapore. Immigration officers rarely ask for 6 months of validity beyond your departure date, but airlines sometimes do — check with your carrier before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Singapore | Immigration at Changi Airport routinely asks for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this before letting you through to baggage claim. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host's address | Officers may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a hotel reservation. Have a booking confirmation or a local host's address and contact number handy. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself during the stay | Immigration can request evidence of sufficient funds — roughly SGD 1,000–2,000 for a short trip. A credit card statement or bank balance screenshot on your phone usually satisfies them. | Recommended |
