Schedule an appointment at the Dutch embassy in Accra or the designated visa application centre (VFS Global). Appointments can be booked online — slots fill up quickly, so book at least 3–4 weeks in advance.

Submit your application in person
Attend your appointment at the embassy or VFS centre. Bring all original documents plus photocopies. You'll be interviewed briefly about your travel plans. Pay the visa fee at this point.

Processing takes 15–30 days. You can track your application online. If additional documents are requested, respond promptly to avoid delays.

Collect your passport
Once approved, you'll receive your passport with the visa sticker. Check that the dates and name are correct. If rejected, you'll get a letter explaining why.
