Indonesian passport holders can get a visa on arrival at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport and at land borders with Georgia and Iran. The visa is valid for up to 120 days and costs AMD 15,000 (about USD 38). No prior application needed — just show up with your passport and the fee.

Cash only for visa fee
The visa on arrival fee must be paid in cash — no cards, no mobile payments. Have AMD 15,000 ready. ATMs are available in the arrivals hall, but it's easier to bring the cash from home.
Visa on arrival also at land borders
If you're entering Armenia overland from Georgia or Iran, you can get the same visa at the border checkpoint. The process is identical — just have your passport and cash ready.

Arrive at Zvartnots Airport (Yerevan)
After landing, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' counter before passport control. The counter is clearly marked and usually has a short queue.

Fill out the visa application form
A simple form asking for your name, passport number, and length of stay. Staff can help if needed.

Pay the fee and get your visa
Hand over your passport, the completed form, and AMD 15,000 in cash. The officer will process it on the spot — takes about 5 minutes. You'll get a sticker in your passport.

Proceed to passport control
Show your passport with the new visa sticker, plus your return ticket and accommodation proof if asked. Then you're through.

Yes, the same visa on arrival is available at all land border crossings with Georgia and Iran. The process is the same — fill a form, pay AMD 15,000 in cash, and get a sticker. Note that the border with Turkey is closed, and the border with Azerbaijan is heavily restricted.
Up to 120 days from the date of issue. You cannot extend it beyond that. If you need to stay longer, you'll need to leave Armenia and re-enter (a 'visa run') or apply for a different visa type at an Armenian embassy abroad.
No, only cash is accepted at the visa counter. Bring Armenian Dram (AMD) or US dollars. If you pay in dollars, you'll get change in dram at the official exchange rate. There are ATMs in the arrivals hall if you need to withdraw dram before reaching the counter.
You will be denied entry. The 6-month validity rule is strictly enforced. Renew your passport before traveling. If you have a second passport with sufficient validity, you can use that one instead.
If you stay airside and don't pass through immigration, you don't need a visa. But if you plan to leave the airport (even for a few hours), you'll need the visa on arrival. There is no transit visa option.
