What happens at the border

Arrival at Turkish airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control' (not e-gates — Irish passports don't use them). Join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport and return ticket ready.

Present your documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly. They'll stamp your passport with a 90-day entry.

Collect luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's no arrival form to fill out for Irish citizens.
