Apply early — no visa on arrival
Mozambican passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Armenia. You must have an approved e-visa before you travel. Apply at least a week in advance to avoid last-minute stress.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Armenia, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying.

Go to evisa.mfa.am. Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around $8–$10 USD). Processing takes 2–3 business days. You'll receive the visa by email as a PDF.

Print or save on your phone: the e-visa approval, your return/onward ticket, and your first night's accommodation booking. Check your passport has 6+ months validity and a blank page.

Arrive at Yerevan airport or land border
At Zvartnots International Airport (Yerevan) or any land border crossing, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and e-visa printout (or show on phone). The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation — have them ready. Expect a stamp and a smile. The whole process takes 5–15 minutes.
