What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before departure
Check your passport validity (6+ months from entry date). Book your return/onward ticket and first night accommodation. Save screenshots or printouts of both. Pack your passport in your carry-on.
2
Arrive at Changi Airport (or other entry point)
At Changi, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Foreign Passports'. Join the queue for manual counters (automated gates are for Singapore residents only). Have your passport and onward ticket ready.
3
Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask: purpose of visit, length of stay, where you're staying, and when you leave. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a visit pass valid for up to 30 days.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs (green channel if nothing to declare). You're now in Singapore.
