Passport validity is strictly enforced
Airlines check this before you board. If your passport has less than 6 months validity from your entry date, you will not be allowed to fly. Check your passport now, not the night before.
Keep a copy of your entry stamp
Take a photo of the entry stamp in your passport. You'll need the exact date when calculating your 90-day stay limit. The stamp is also required if you need to prove your legal entry for any reason.

Arrive at UAE immigration
At Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah airports, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and join the 'All Passports' queue. Have your passport and boarding pass ready.

Present your passport
Hand over your passport to the immigration officer. They will scan it and may ask your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly.

Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with a 90-day visit visa. No fee is charged. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when you leave.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually nothing to declare unless you have large amounts of cash or restricted goods.
