Apply for a visa
Submit your visa application at the South African embassy or consulate in Kigali (or the nearest accredited office). You'll need your passport, photos, completed application form, flight itinerary, accommodation proof, and bank statements. Processing takes 2–4 weeks, sometimes longer. Arrive at a South African airport
At OR Tambo (Johannesburg), Cape Town, or King Shaka (Durban), go to the 'Foreign Passports' queue.
