What happens at the border

1
Arrival at Incheon or other airport
You'll go through immigration at Incheon (Seoul), Gimhae (Busan), or Jeju. Follow signs for 'Foreign Passports' — there's usually a separate queue.
2
Present your passport and documents
Hand over your passport and any requested documents (return ticket, accommodation). The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer clearly and briefly.
3
Get your entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and allowed stay (usually 90 days). Check the stamp before leaving the counter.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your checked luggage from the carousel and proceed through customs. Green channel for nothing to declare, red channel if you have goods to declare.
